Steven A. Williams

Steven A. Williams was admitted to the practice of law in 1987. Steve graduated from IIT - Chicago Kent in 1987. He received his Bachelor’s Degree from DePaul University in 1984.

Steve has practiced in the area of insurance defense litigation since his admission to the bar in 1987 and during that time, he has tried over 35 jury cases to verdict. He has experience in a broad range of subjects, including personal injury motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, construction liability, products liability and toxic tort liability. Steve has also represented plaintiffs in cases including motor vehicle accidents, Dram Shop litigation, premises liability lawsuits, and medical malpractice.

Steve is accomplished in all aspects of case development, trial preparation and trial presentation. He has been responsible for training new associates in subjects including use of evidence at trial and trial techniques.

Steve, in addition to a busy trial calendar, has substantial experience in matters of office administration by developing and modernizing case management techniques. Steve uses his administrative expertise and experience at Pontikes & Associates to keep the firm running at peak efficiency, thereby ensuring that the firms’ clients receive competent and cost efficient legal services.

Steve is a member of the Chicago and American Bar Associations.
