Beth A. Miller
Beth has successfully represented clients in such published decisions as Richard Clark vs. City of Chicago, 2000 U.S. District Lexis 215, Brown-Seydel vs. Mehta, 666 N.E.2d. 800, (1st Dist. 1996), and Winger vs. Franciscan Medical Center, 701 N.E.2d 813 (3rd Dist. 1998. Beth also advises and provides preventive counseling to clients on a wide range of issues affecting the employment relationship including the gamut of EEO issues, wage and hour issues, family medical leave act, employee handbooks and personnel policies and strategies for employee discipline and termination. Beth is a former trial attorney with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. Prior to working at the EEOC, Beth worked as a senior attorney at Equipment for Equality, working on various issues including disability discrimination litigation. She speaks regularly at seminars and to trade groups on employment law topics. Beth received her BA from the University of Iowa in 1986 and her law degree from John Marshall Law School in 1989. Beth is a member of the Chicago Bar Association Employment and Labor Law Committee. |
