Donovan S. Fechner

Donovan S. Fechner received his Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Wisconsin at Milwaukee in 1990. He received his Juris Doctorate at the Northern Illinois University College of Law in 1994 where he graduated with honors.

Donovan's practice has concentrated in the areas workers’ compensation, personal injury motor vehicle accidents, premises liability and Dram Shop litigation. He has established himself as an aggressive litigator with prior experience on behalf of both defendants/respondents and plaintiffs/petitioners.

Donovan has litigated a wide variety of workers’ compensation cases in the Illinois Industrial Commission throughout the state. He has also tried numerous bench and jury trials involving diverse civil matters including Dram Shop, automobile accidents and premises liability. His experience includes over 75 mandatory arbitration hearings. He has also practiced in the area of civil appeals with a reported decision in Glover v. Barbosa, No. 1-02-0394 (1st Dist. 2003).
